Hey everyone!! My name is Sayera Sidur and my nicknames are Noureen and Mim which my family calls me. I am currently a freshman (9th Grade) in Dr. Rita Hocog Inos Jr. Sr. High School. Some of my hobbies are hanging out with my friends, binge-watching TV shows/movies, baking, playing badminton, and I also like painting a lot. I also really love travelling and shopping. I would describe myself as a determined, ambitious, cheerful, friendly, smart, generous, kind and loving person. When ever I meet some one new I am usually a little shy at first but when I get to know them, I am really talkative and cheerful around them. A fun fact about me is that I can fully understand 3 languages and I am fluent in talking 2 of them. I really love eating spicy, savory, and sweet foods but I don’t really like eating any vegetables. I haven’t really decided what I want to be when I finish school but I think maybe something in the medical field. I really love taking pictures of my self, my family & friends, and the nature. That’s why I decided to take this course because I want to learn photography and I’m very excited to learn about all the fundamentals and techniques of photography.   These are the item that are really important in my daily life. The items that I chose are my phone, charger, laptop, airpods, glasses, hand sanitizer, hair tie, head band, face mask, and my body spray. These are the things that I use a lot every day. My phone - I bring my phone everywhere I go and it's really important to me because it has all my contacts and important things in it. My charger - I think it's a really important thing because I need to charge my phone to keep it running. My Airpods - I like to use them to listen to music and watch videos when I am bored.   Picture #1 Japanese Cannon (140mm Coastal Defense Rifle) The Japanese cannon was a 140 mm pedestal mounted naval gun with a range of about 17,000 meters that was used to cover the harbor at Sasanhaya Bay as part of Japan's defense of Rota during World War II. Just to the west of this location is a second casemate who does not have a weapon. The Japanese troops constructed the artillery position in 1941. In 1984, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. Picture #2 Tonga Cave Tonga Cave, a massive natural cave near to Songsong Village, was most likely used by ancient Chamorros for a variety of reasons throughout thousands of years. The Japanese troops utilized the cave as a tiny hospital during WWII. Prior to the construction of concrete buildings, Rota inhabitants sought refuge in Tonga Cave during typhoons. Iconic Photographer Photo Project

 Iconic Photographer (Ansel Adams) The photographer's images that I connected with most was Ansel Adams. Something that I like about him is that  Adams was deeply impressed with the simplicity of the images’ conception and by their rich and luminous tonality, a style in contrast to the soft-focus Pictorialism still in vogue among many contemporary photographers. The experience confirmed in him his evolution toward a purer and more realistic style.  Ansel Adams, the legendary landscape and nature photographer, gave modern-day photographers a conscious way to make decent photographs into exceptional ones through his technique known as 'visualization.' Capturing vast landscapes has been one of photography's most important tenants since its inception.
